Azerbaijan aims to become a transportation and information hub in Eurasia, as well as a key node on the Silk Road connecting China and London. This project is part of the "Great Silk Road" infrastructure development plan, which will assist China and Arab countries in jointly promoting the construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt. Overload control through science and technology is an essential component of intelligent transportation and information hubs. The project includes a command center, an information supervision platform, and 20 Weigh In Motion stations (single and double lanes).
